Policy Overview

At Chess Pro, we respect your right to control your personal data. In strict accordance with Google Play Developer Policy and Apple App Store Review Guidelines, this document explains how you can permanently delete your Chess Pro account and all associated personal records.

Important Notice: Account deletion is permanent and cannot be undone. Once deleted, your rating progress, competitive badges, friends list, and profile information cannot be recovered.

Method 1: Direct In-App Deletion (Instant)

If you have the Chess Pro application installed on your Android or iOS device, you can delete your account instantly:

  1. 1 Launch the Chess Pro app and log into your account.
  2. 2 Navigate to your Profile or open the Settings menu.
  3. 3 Tap on Account Settings → Delete Account.
  4. 4 Review the consequence warning checklist and enter your account password for re-authentication.
  5. 5 Tap the red confirmation button: Permanently Delete My Account.

Upon tapping confirm, your active tokens and sessions are revoked immediately, and your personal data is purged from our production database.

Method 2: Web Deletion Request Form

If you have uninstalled the application or can no longer log in, use the secure web form below to request account deletion. Our privacy team will process your request and send verification to your registered email address.

Verification & Timeline

For requests submitted via the web form, we send a cryptographically secure verification link to the registered email address within 24 hours to prevent unauthorized deletion by third parties. Once confirmed by clicking the link, complete account erasure is executed within 7 business days.
